Funny how much you whine about rep given you care so little about it. When you get rep you can click on the post to see which one it was for. The first time I probably negged you for being needlessly abusive or a WUM. The second time was probably for your OTT reaction, including posting 5 times on my wall in 4 minutes .

 

I either usually received rep as a way of someone sending me abuse or as a way of 'certain' members of the forum to make sexual advances

I did bother reading that seeming as it was closed straight after the final whistle

What do you think that's all about then, making him captain ? I think Rodgers is giving the impression that certain players ARE bigger than the club. With everything that has happened and with him coming out last week saying he was disappointed etc to then make him captain smacks of desperation to keep him happy to me, especially with Skertl on the pitch.

Or maybe making him captain was the punishment ?

He was the most senior of all the starting eleven, apart from Skrtel. Last week there was a rumour Skrtel was left out because of an argument. Who knows.

 

Who else was he going to give the armband to? Skrtel is far too quiet and still make silly errors so doesn't exactly lead by example. I wouldn't give it to Jones, Coates, Robisnon, Allen, Sturridge, Borini or Sterling. The only other two are Wisdom and Henderson but both are too inexperienced. Suarez was the captain at Ajax too and I think he's possibly captained Uruguay as well???

 

Probably has captained Uraguay.

My point is though that for someone who seems to actually like causing a stir and who only last week the manager was expressing his anger at re the 'i dived' comment it just seems odd to make him the captain for the game. Others may not be a experienced or vocal but it's one game so it shouldn't matter. Just seems odd that someone like him considering his recent activities would be captain ?

At one point aswell he absolutely tore Robinson, I think it was him anyway, a new one for a poor pass - hardly leading by example himself.
