A belief structure over an idea can be manipulated for a person's own ends. I'm quite lucky in the sense that I come from a religious background and family but I've also been exposed to a lot of science, in fact I'll be starting my last year at uni soon studying genetics in both at a molecular and evolutionary perspective. So I'd like to think that I can develop my own ideas in terms of science but also theology. But I think that is where most people have gripes with religion. But it works both ways, religons can be sometimes "backwards" but so can the people that deride it.
Back to the football! I'm actually going to be diplomatic and say to Liverpool, bring it on! I'm looking forward to hopefully the two biggest English clubs at the top. But obviously, we are better!
This will be the best premiership in years, anyone of three teams can win it...Any 4 of 6 will qualify for the champions league. At the bottom any 3 of 7 will go down. Who will be the shining star? Torres, Suarez,Rooney?

i dont get the excitement around suarez. My opinion is that he is well outside the top 10 in the best players list (although he is a good player, could make the united bench). If he is you best hope at liverpool all that says to me is that your squad really isn't very good.
Lad, i'd go and watch cricket if i was you..You quiet clearly know fook all about football, if you honestly think that. Of the current United squad i'd only have Vidic and Rooney..the rest are no better than what we have already.

why because of the assist/ goal thay was stolen from him? It was a good goal from a good player. but i stand by what i said and the bare statistic is 4 goals in 13 games. I had this veiw before he joined liverpool too. I was supporting Uruguay in the WC after england went out.

Wait did they actually say Suarez would get on their bench? He's better than any individual on their team! Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov? Not even close to Suarez.
What about him running rings round you the rest of the game? He was not bought as an out and out goalscorer hence him playing out wide a lot and us buying a new goalscorer. 4 goals in twelve starts plus 3 assists when he came into a team in disarray is a decent enough start anyway.
I don't get the excitement about Suarez. You should after he took the piss out of 6 of your players. He's head and shoulders above what United have in attack.Rooney is nowhere near good enough to lace his boots.Rooney is vastly over-rated,and is only rated by the English,
