The most important thing people throughout the world need to realise is...

There's a huge difference between faith and religion.

Personally, I have neither. The world's too **** to have a creator; if it did have a creator - then he did a crappy job.

Religon is a tool of manipulation, All believe in god and we are closest to god so bow before us. It is a byproduct of civilisation nothing more.

I tend to try not be an asshole, thats my religon. Community cooperation if far more helpful than any religon and you shouldn't need a fkn priest ect telling you this is right thats wrong, sure if we need to be told at this stage there's already no hope.

Choosing the correct non biased course of action is always the way forward, not holding a set of rigid beliefs as that is in essence being closed minded

I agree with what you say in that the best thing is to not be an asshole and to choose the correct non-biased course of action.

As I say, I am open minded and don't agree with everything in my religion. I also don't try and preach my beliefs to people as I think you should be able to believe whatever you want to believe (and anything I say isn't going to change people's beliefs anyway!).

Berb is right ( never thought I'd say that). Religion, football, politics- all are used by people as a rationale for whatever **** they want to put across. Banning religion is utterly pointless, people would only find another excuse for their actions.

Religion has always been used as a tool for controlling the weak and ignorant...Why was the catholic church founded? Do some research and you'll be surprised. If Jesus existed, the strong likely hood is he would of either been a negro or arab..Not this bearded white man portrait by christianity. The Vatican, makes FIFA look straight. All religion is flawed, all religion is pointless..Unless you want to control the stupid.

Jesus would have been Jewish, olive skin, that sort of thing.

It's the people in religion who make it flawed not the religion (i.e. the belief) itself (if that makes sense).

You could say football is a religion to some people.....

Back to the topic in hand.
There is a difference between Liverpool and Man United.
Liverpools greatest ever player had a long and distinguised career having won a host of honours.,Man Uniteds was a 3 season wonder who made a complete arse out of himself on television whilst drunk

Well guys it's time for me to come clean.

Long story less boring after reading my posts on here last night my girlfriend came out with the "who's got the biggest cock" analergy(sp) and said we're all 2 dImensional lads who talk nothing but shoite all day, and that I should know better than to join in.

So after mush protest I bet her that I could start a debate on here other than the usual cliches.

So apologies to the people of Norway, even though I am deeply moved with what happened, I wasn't beliiling what happened, and I hope that the facsist **** wit gets what's coming to him

I'm off to town for lunch, care of her indoors.

Skylarker no way have you got a bigger cock than me.

and you Mickeys are still thick as ****.

I think someone eluded to it above.

The concept of a religion is a good thing.

It's people that make it almost evil.

Religion as an "institute" (for want of a better word) was created by humans and is run by humans so it's bound to be flawed. Religion as a belief or set of beliefs is different though.
