    Err...no. Don't see the deflection at all. UIR made a joke. Maybe not a funny joke, but a joke nonetheless. The fact you see it as some kind of deflection says more about you than anyone!

    Out of interest, what was he deflecting and how? This ought to be good <ok>

    That point might have some bearing in the endless pointless pissing contest certain LFC fans seem to want to start all the time (this would be the point at which you mention five European Cups) if Liverpool were actually defending a trophy. Unfortunately your 'defence' of the Carling Cup ended in pitiful style when Swansea gave you a good thrashing at home. So as of right now, and of course let's get "real", what exactly are Liverpool defending?

    Besides which, I think I speak for every fan in the world when I say we'd much rather be challenging for trophies this season than trying (and failing) to defend the ones we won in the past.

    haha, I liked Stan tbh, he was a wum but he was good at it. As he made sure that he stayed the right side of the line & largely avoided the wrath of the mods.

    We had some good laughs with him in the main, he was as mad as a bag of weasels, but harmless.
