I saw our local 'Knock-Off Nigel yesterday at the funeral and purchased Battleship and the new Bob Marley DVDs.

I'd still like to kill Rihanna, or however you spell it, but the effects were good. It was a cross between Independance Day and Predator, with the Yanks saving the world - yet again

Marley DVD very good though. If you're looking in Sky, it's worth the purchase

I think he was having some football banter with Tim Henman in an interview and said he wanted England to lose - hardly breaking news for a Scotish man to want England to lose. However when the press got hold of it then it was all the usually sensationalised bollocks.

 

This. Pretty sure it all stems from an interview before the 2006 World Cup. Tim Henman of all people was giving him grief for Scotland not qualifying and said something like "Given Scotland were too **** to qualify, who will you support in the World Cup?". Murray replied "Anyone but England".

According to Henman and the interviewer, Murray said it as a joke but all that got reported by the S*n and all the other **** rags was that Murray would support anyone who was playing England. Typical tabloid BS lapped up by the ignoramuses who look for any excuse to hate...
