    He was banned because he refused to whistle 'Take me home United road'' and when he eventually did it sounded too much like ''Take me home, country road'' and it was deemed offensive.

  12. Gerrard suffered from back problems early in his career which effected other parts of his body. I think that was more to do with him being a late bloomer and still growing though?

    I remember Gerrard having back trouble, and he also had to have his wisdom teeth taken out to prevent him from having groin trouble. It was Gerard Houlliers medical team that discovered that this was the cause of the groin injuries.
