Why are you so desperately clutching at City to win it? I thought you were for anyone but United? Surprised you haven't nailed your colours to the Chelsea mast by now. After all, they were the last ones to win a trophy <ok>

  3. If I was a Man Utd fan (just been sick in my mouth <grr>), I wouldn't want RVP. Hell, I am a Liverpool fan I don't want him to join us!

Listen, you lot are so far in denial, you think anyone who says the truth is on the wind-up. I am not desperate for City to win it, just pointing out some facts here to try and bring you and your mob back into reality for five minutes.

  15. Couldn't agree more. As I said above, I honestly wouldn't want to see him joining Liverpool.

He is a injury prone 29 year old that will cost over £20m and expect £200k per week. On a four year contract, that adds up to £61.6m and he will have no resale value. Thanks, but no thanks <ok>

Get the **** you Yankee bastard Cricket is a great game, people who don't understand it don't like it.. I love test cricket the way the game ebbs and flows. Not a massive fan of the county game a the standard isn't great, same with test rugby ****ing great game.. Both sports show true sportsmanship and respect for the officials . Excluding a few cheating pakistanis <ok>

I do enjoy the basketball too, baseball and American football is ****e though <ok>

<laugh> RVP would get in any first team in any club on the planet. He'd be a mile ahead of Balotelli and Dzeko, and if City signed him then Tevez would probably **** off on another golf holiday, if Mancini didn't ditch him first.

Course they will. Whether they will sign multi million pound global names like they have done for the last few years, or just a couple of players to fill squad roles remains to be seen.

<laugh> I almost can't believe you said that, but then you're a 'pool fan so your experience of title races is minimal. Pressure always has an outcome on the title race. Do you think Utd would have chucked away a two goal lead to Everton or played like they were scared to move at City last season had there been no pressure at all?!? If Benitez taught you anything, it should be that if you can't handle the pressure you will never win the league.

Neither are City. And Utd don't have to be stronger, just wiser, more experienced and less injury prone. Remember it was GD that decided the title last year.

Debatable. Superior individuals maybe, but Utd as a squad have more harmony, more experience and know each other better. That wasn't enough to win the title last year, and might not be enough this year, but the two clubs are a lot closer than you would love to believe.

And Utd were the bookmakers favourites last year. Fact. Didn't do us much good now, did it?

Denial about what exactly? That City have a good squad and title winning experience? Definitely not. That City are guaranteed to win the title and we might as well just give up now? I think most City fans would deny that one mate!

I would definitely take him. I'd love him here. A striker who had 30 goals and 13 assists last season in the league.

As for cricket, Its a sport I've never been able to get into. Find it terribly boring, especially the 5 day games. Maybe it'd be different if there was an actual international team for me to get behind, but seeing as Wales play under the name of England then its just not for me.
