I bought the Galaxy Ace bit of an oldie but will do what I want £7.50 p/m 500mb 250mins and 5000texts. Can't go wrong at that price. I checked that all the new apps would work I would have gone for a newer Samsung but I would be doubling the monthly cost. So I will be part of the smartphone world as of the morrow.

Not any more. The S3 just came out this week and it ****s on the iPhone 4s or any other phone on the market right now.

Truth is the Apple fan boys try to claim the 4s is the best but next time, ask them the specs of the S3 compared to their 4S and they will shut up.

 

the schmapple girls will have to pull the stops out to beat the S3, I'll be upgrading once they come down a bit till then the S2 will be the beast of choice

 

I'll get the S3 when it's £7.50. As much as I'd like one now there's no way I'm paying loads for it.

 

depending on who you work with you can get 20% off your tariff, which made my S2 more affordable.

 

Someone gave me nod that I can have a discount with the network I'm on so I'm happy that my £7.50 will be even less.

I read or heard, (can't remember which!) that the new I-phone will have smaller connecter than all of the other current apple products and will not be compatable with existing docking stations etc. The commentator/ author claims that this could be a big turn off for the new I-phone.

 

Thought a law had been introduced to stop this happening...? Phone companies were changing their connectors far too often to make money and now they have to be universal?

 

Ok so the phone has arrived, very happy. Downloading apps, not so happy. There seems to be millions of sites and they all seem to suck or want to to create an account.

Is there a site that I can just search and download?

 

My girlfriend has the same phone as you, there should just be a 'play store' icon on the front page and all the apps are in there. You need to sign up to a google mail to access it though. Do that and you're in.
