It was a bit a a joke but anyway, we didnt even have the factories and mines to begin with. What we have is zero hour contracts that mean you can go months without working while being employed. A retail sector determined to hire as little people as possible in order to charge the lowest possible amounts. Insanely strict guidelines of who can do some jobs, not skilled jobs, low paid unskilled jobs.

Also competing with 500million ****ers from the EU doesnt help, and firms saying oh, the UK workers are not skilled enough or experience enough.....erm, ****face, thats because you and your **** company hired Al ****ing fredo to do the job instead of training up someone.

Catch 22 all this, you cant get a job for lack of experience or age but you cant get the experience without a job and by the time you are older they wont hire you anyway as they will resort back to the experience part.

Only want a job to fund something else aswell so I am not too bothered what it is.

 

At least we had nintendo and super nintendo

Yep quite a few times. Even when I was clearly under qualified and tried to talk myself into the job I got back I a response saying I was too good for the position and they felt I wouldnt hang around long.

 

I am not, in the past I have always had something on to earn money, from fixing and reselling broken computer consoles or cash in hand work there was always something but not now.

P.S had to google that as I had no idea.

Right now I would take the worst job on earth, use the income to do a course and learn a new skill for the future ( web design or something in hat area, I dont know ), restart my club events and eventually get a better job.

Problem is step one, getting the **** job is the hardest part.

Not so long ago I walked into a call centre and asked for a job...I started that evening on night shift. I had never done the job before either. Even in a few years times change so much.

 

I had to google "google".

 

Uir if you've ever done anything remotely salesy go an flog motah's my mate just waltzed into a job selling fiats.
