Depends on what you like ( Lager, IPA, porter, etc) and what you can get over there. Just stay away from any of the Budweiser, coors, miller those are the commercial brands that are cheaper but not that good in terms of taste. not bad after a long day but not exactly ideal.

Brooklyn is good, Goose Island is Chicago's main stay. Anchor Steam from San Fran is good, Yuengling from Pennsylania is the oldest and one of my personal favorites. it really depends on the area you are in for what type of beers there are. You are in Colorado, I would say go for some Fat Tire, up north? Go for some Vermont harpoon brand beers. Sam Adams is always a good shout as well.

It's mostly Davidako who is the one throwing personal insults at users but apart from him and Baz, everyone gets on fine with each other on this thread.

    This is ok though;

Like I said, act like a **** towards me and I'll give back likewise.

Otherwise, can I ask you politely to not address me in any shape or form as I have zero interest in a single word you have to say?

    Cheers. <ok>

I can see where your coming from and quite frankly that's a pretty sad thing to say and not banter.

At the same time Can you honestly say you havent stooped to a similar level in the past of going beyond banter when you have lost your rag over being teased ?

Not saying its right but if you've acted in a similar way in the past without similar provacation is that not being a hypocrite ?!

What happened to rising above scum, as surely that is being the bigger person no ?

P.S as this is a banter page i cant pass up the oppurtunity of pointing out the irony of your initial complaint: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/dec/09/alex-ferguson-arsene-wenger-sick-chants

That's only ironic if I were one of the people who has sang that chant (I didn't even have to open the link). I haven't though, ever. I can promise you that, not only that I've grown to quite like Wenger, blind old bat that he is.

Look, I will and do react but generally the level of my abuse rises in direct relation to that what I receive, I can honestly say that it is due to provocation. Yes, you are right, I should rise above it but davidako is a dickhead so I can not and will not ignore him.

As for Nobelox, read back and you'll see he fired the first shot and the one I quoted, is there any reason why I should be accused of being a *****, nonce and kiddie fiddler on what is, as you quite rightly point out, a banter thread?

I've only really ever regretted laying into one person, who knows who he is, and he and I have since met and had a couple of beers. For the most part though I give as I get, daft as that is.

As for you and me, no need for anything to escalate at all.

    I'm not Welsh though! <ok>

    Morning mickeys!

are you lot still basking in yet another triumphant season at the mighty Liverpool F.C.? :)

....and is Bertie Bazza still basking in the glory of Citeh's first premiership glory? or is he now a Chelsea fan?

I'm however basking in the knowledge that United have NOT signed a complete mercenary prima dona that could eventually cost Chelsea in the region of £87m( that's with all the add ons)<whistle>
