I think United will react and win the League next year.

After than, City may take over.

How exactly. We have a very good squad who have shown this season just how good they really are. The worst hit side in terms of injury and yet we have amassed equal points to City. That was no fluke. City have not romped this like Chelsea did years back. SAF is building a great squad once again and one that will continue to challenge for honours for years to come. Our squad is young, many have experience of winning the title and all know what it feels like to have it snatched away in the blink of an eye. A new hunger will drive forward players like Young, De Gea, Jones and others. SAF has said this evening that he is not going away so any thoughts of United fading away as of yet are pipe dreams.

City have won the title and well done to them, I think even the biggest ABU's can see United ran them real ****ing close and both us and City will only get better. The rest of the league are a long long way behind.

If you say so. 2 of our best players, as important to us as Kompany and Yaya have been to man city, out for so long. Numerous short to medium term injuries. Only a few of our players went the season uninjured. Not an excuse but given that its unlikely to be as bad next season we can expect a stronger team out ( hopefully ).

Have you seen our team, the age and what the players have achieved already in terms of being there, done it or felt the pain of losing it. Maybe we will do a Liverpool and Rafa after this. Is that what you mean?

Keeping Vidic, Fletcher and Cleverley fit for a whole season would be a good start! Those three between them would have solved most of our CB and midfield problems this season imo.

Not sure about a class act. He has a lot of potential, but is very inconsistent. He sounds perfect for Liverpool <ok>

Why would you mock a Fulham fan for having a gingham kit? Oh, I see, because you FAIL <laugh>

Shouldn't you have been watching your own team bend over again? Or was that too embarrassing?

A lot will depend on what City do over the summer. They really need to consolidate and build on their experience, whilst keeping the title winning group of players together. But the temptation to do a Chelsea and go for some big name players may be too much. They've already had problem with egos this season, wonder if they'll risk further problems next year by splashing out on more marquee signings?

Being involved in this title race > League cup.

Shows the different expectations in our clubs at this moment. Gone are the days Liverpool have to put up with finishing as winners, runners up, or 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th :D

Yeh the history books. Skys premier league review shows in 20 years time will show United and City fighting it out for one of the closest ever title races caught, in full on camera. That is what history will remember.

Ah well, you have to be in it to win it as they say. Rather be involved in the title race than feeling rather smug about a Carling Cup win if I am honest. Just shows the massive gap between our clubs as I said ;)

Without doubt. Citys seasonal review will have this game in full on it for certain.

Keeps shifting this power doesnt it. Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds, Man Utd, Blackburn, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City...... surely its coming back round to Liverpool soon.

Lets look and see shall we....1968, Man City won the league....... 4 years later Liverpool won the league. Perhaps this is hope?

    hard cheese utd fans....

    there's always next year.

I siad weeks ago city were bottlers but utd seem to have just bottled it that little bit more. The wigan game was the one really. win that and city wouldn't have turned up at eastlands. as it was they did their very best to bottle it today and i must say it was grand drama and quite entertaining.

I also said utd were 3 players away from either coming apart or being great again. I'll stand by that, 2 cms and either a great defender or striker I'd say right now.

Sorry but cleverly is in no way another paul scholes and one has to wonder about the fitness of smalling and jones. They were to be the next genderation but they have been suspect... like kelly really.

As for who wins it next year... they is BLOODY SIMPLE... who wants it more? I've seen plenty in different sports who pull off the one year wonder and don't repeat it. the current golf world no1 could well be such for example. All due respect to anti utd fans but utd are the tiger woods or the schumacher of football. they want it and never stop wanting it.

CIty need to be better than utd and want it too. 89 points proves how much a utd side as bad as has been seen in years wants it.

anyway... hard cheese... enjoy next years trophyless team pic i suppose.

The Title fight between Arsenal and Liverpool 1989 was settled on the very last by 1 goal, was 'caught, in full on camera' and was the closest title fight ever.

    <whistle>

Spot on. We all know Baz and Davidako are just on a wind up and fair play to them, like I said, if the City game finished 2 mins earlier we would be terrorising Baz right now and he would be accepting it haha.
