Well the law does say that if the woman is forced, ie has a pimp so I would say a large number of prostitutes and maybe even the majority have a pimp and are therefore whored out to punters is illegal. It wouldnt mater if the punter knew or not either.

My gran has cancer terrif, my mum is currently crippled by a serious of yet undiagnosed conditions and a number of already diagnosed conditions that make it impossible for her to do her life long job of caring for children with special needs, my grandad is still in the process of recovering from his second stroke and my brother has hyper mobility. My girlfriend recently lost our baby and her mother has huntingtons disease, something we both raise money for.

And? I actually offered my genuine condolences when your girlfriend lost the baby. As for the others, the hyper mobility is interesting as most people just think of it as being double jointed but it can cause real issues. As for hyper mobility, it was discovered 2 years into my brothers army career. He had already toured Iraq and was weeks from going to Afghanistan when diagnosed. He had a fairly long battle to get medically discharged as in just those 2 years he had shrunk 3 inch ( at 21 years old this isnt normal ) and over the fact the army should of spotted it sooner. He got a cash settlement and full pay upto the rank he was realistically capable of before the end of his term ( he had already signed up beyond his 4 year minimum as far as I remember ).

As far as the law is concerned prostitution is not illegal. Soliciting is, living off immoral earnings (pimping) is and running a house of ill-repute (brothel) is. Paying for sex is not illegal however, curb crawling is. The moral context is not included in the legislation.

Yep, although most police forces turn a blind eye to it unless it causing a problem or the neighbours are posh and complaining types.
