If I were ref (and saw it) I wouldn't have given a penalty. Would be mad if a palace fan...

Not going to affect the outcome though. I suspect palace will score today but no way they will get points today.

(Please no 2nd half jinx from the 3 crones who weave the fate of mankind)

Best we've played all season. An early second half goal would be lovely!

Moyes will be watching. THIS is how you score goals from open play against Palace. You're welcome for the lesson.

happy with that first half. Hope it gives us the confidence to carry on attacking in the second half. We have no excuse being 3-0 up we don't have to worry about Palace scoring a goal and changing the game. They are there for the taking, but I would be surprised if it ended up 9-0, a game I remember fondly with the chant of we want 10.

Fantastic attacking display however there are still questions on how our midfield exposes our defence - Palace had some really good spells and really should have done better.

No pleasing some people. Had BR played a solid midfield then we may not have been so good going forward and could have made it a tight game with us struggling to break them down. Then people would complaing that we weren't attacking enough and we didn't need to be so defensive against Palace.

Instead, BR goes all out to try and break them down and probably thinks his 3 main CB's can cope with Chamakh & a player than was in non league 1 1/2 years ago.

For a few years we were too conservative and struggled to break down teams that came and made it difficult, and now we're actually looking good going forward and scoring goals people are moaning. We're not a good enough team to dominate games where we are awesome going forward and rarely give the opponent a chance like Bayern do.

So, 3-0 up, looking goof. Deadly Duo up top, let's just finish this game off and then next game if we need to be more defensive and controlled in the middle we'll have Lucas back and BR can set up his team to do that.

Sterling has done fine, you can see he's inexperienced at RWB as he doesn't have a balance between defence and attack but he's done more good than bad. Let's not forget the lad is still only 18!

Sterling has created the most chances this half with 3.

Was referring to Suarez looking like a goof (the way we say goofy down here) <whistle>

  19. Being out of position or young doesn't excuse not being able to find a pass! The assist he got didn't exactly take much but it did play to his strength...running!

As long as we don't do the usual and sub Jykell for Hyde in the 2nd half we should be fine. <whistle>
