If we need to we could put Agger or Sako or Toure in the DM role.... Thinking on it Toure or Sako might be a good option
Would risk it tbh, he hasn't played for us yet in his favoured position, so I wouldn't even risk playing him out of position.
yeah lets face it they dont need to be hitting long balls, Lucas mostly does short passes The one next to the DM is the ball move BR likes, Gerrard in our case so all of the three you mentioned are good in the tackle and would have Lucas's passing ability so in the future this could be tried imo (until Jan)
He can definitely do the two you say, im probably making the dm up. Or it couldve been Sakho, anyway who cares!
Lets just stick Sakho there, he likes to come out from defence and give us a scare anyway so may as well just shove him in DM
There are no easy games! We played Sunderland, team at the bottom of the table and they gave us a damn good game/scare. Need to respect Palace but also believe in what we can do. Play both 45mins, hope the SaS continue their good form and we should bag the 3 points. However if its goalless after 25-30mins, Palace will start to grow into the game, so a goal or two early and it should be relatively straight forward.
Sunderland did give us a bloody good game And there arent any easy games/straight forward ones If we can get back to being as free flowing as we were back end of last season usually that would be more than teams can cope with but we havent been near that yet I wouldnt say
Agreed, Suarez is back so the fluid/flowing football should slowly return, however we won't be back to our free flowing best until the wee master is back in the #10 role
Not too much respect for them please, that's our problem. We come in and offer them too much time to organize defences, time on the ball, etc. No defensive tactics Saturday please. We need to be winning these comfortably.
