Question didn't specify the league. We may have done in the league, just depends if anyone has turned us around and made us kick towards the kop in the first half. Next home game, we should swap and kick towards the kop in first half, at least then we may score a few more in 2nd!
Enrique is a bit like Johnson for me. Not the best in his position defensively... but not without some redeaming quality. He's frequently involved in the build up to goals we score.
good win. first half was very good, but what is it with the second half performances its as if the players come out expecting to play poorly. It's a habit we need to stop asap.
Ill take that all day, think my prediction was 3-1 Suarez too. Great first half relaxed a bit in the 2nd which was expected, fully believe we were capable of going up a gear if it was needed but evidently it wasn't, hendo SaS and Sakho had good games, should be electric when ford and SaS can all get a run of games together.
Another disappointing 2nd half. Half time team talks must be pretty **** or are the players only getting paid for 1 half of football. Should have kicked on at half time and come away with a big win.
Every person at Anfield today is due both an apology and half of their match fee returned. From the kick-off for the 2nd half until the Ref's final whistle, Liverpool were going through the motions. It's jsut not good enough and they should be told so!!!!
Sterling was **** again - not even his lousy semi dive to 'earn' a penalty was enough to redeem that performance. Drop him already, ship him out on loan. Play Ibe.
Would have liked it to be more 'Easily'. We let them score for a start, would have been nice to go on and win 4 or 5 nil. Yes we won today and thats great, but the 2nd halves are worrying. Against Palace it hardly makes a difference but against a Man City or Arsenal it could be costly.
Think he was alright in the first half. He does have faults but he's strong on the ball and links up so well with Suarez it's hard to think of someone better suited than him. He puts in 5 bad crosses and then 5 brilliant ones. He's frustrating but rewarding too, especially when he muscles his way past 3 defenders. If only he could fix his passing in the final third, I would consider him a great part of our side. For now he's just good.
Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway on Liverpool's disputed penalty: "I've just seen it and I'm bemused. Was it outside the box and was it really a foul? If you want to compare it to anything, Jimmy Kebe is pulled much worse by Mamadou Sakho at the other end. If one is a penalty and one isn't I don't understand." Anyone who watched the game care to give an opinion? Is Holloway being bitter or is there some truth in it?
