You highlighted Ming as full of pace? He can't drop Ming, won't drop Kolo either. Gerrard will be brought back as was clearly rested to play this game and Lucas has played well. If you want a full of pace team.... ---------------Ming Manquillio-Skrtel-Lovren-Moreno ---------can--------Henderson --------------Lallana sterling------Borini-----Markovic But if he plays that team then he's lost his head.
I expect a strange line up based on the fact these past three games have been very edgy and overly defencive, we need to win this game and putting a team out which lacks pace or attacking choice will see us get more nervous as the game goes on, we fall into their hands if we start slowly, like the three matches prior.
More that Ming isn't that quick. I agree that he won't drop Ming, Toure or Gerrard, and if he has sense he'll play Lucas as well. They're just not full of pace I'd be a bit surprised to see Borini start, and very surprised to see Markovic start. Would also be surprised to see neither Lallana nor Coutinho start. I take your point about the past three games; on the other hand, we did win two of those and draw the other (albeit against teams not as good as Basle), so he may stick with a team that's picking up points. But it's all guesswork.
Was tempted to say Johnson, but then I remembered his two seconds of pace against Stoke, so let him off. And how could you leave out Kolo?
What are we talking about financially for tomorrows game? How much does a place in the last 16 earn a club?
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League Don't know how up to date that is but it says £3.5m plus £1m for a group game win
bitterness from rivals id expect, i cant see us winning. basel will be hungrier to advance than we are
hmm.............I think its really tough to call everything considered, hopefully it will be loud at Anfield and that may carry us through. #twelthman
ah i didnt even know it was at anfield. id rather we didnt rely on a last minite gerrard screamer, i want a 4-0 win.
So if Lambert scores the winner he's basically covered his transfer fee and bow can swap him to value for money in his table
â¬4.5m = £3.5m The going rate for a PL goal is currently £1.5m too http://www.sportingintelligence.com...th-915k-each-last-season-and-1-5m-now-240201/
