A lobotomy would certainly have the potential to fix TB but from what I've read it wouldn't quite fix him how he'd like but at least he'd be more managable. Isn't that right little buddy? We'll get you the right treatment eventually.
What's that got to do with 2013's wage bill? In your own time. p.s. Proper football club? Sky 'fans' like you make me want to hurl, you know **** all about the heritage & history of my famous proud old football club, nor the city in which 'yours' ( & I use that term loosely) is situated. You know nothing of the rivalry between the City's 2 great clubs, you know nothing about the derbies, the passion, the pride & banter, that's always gone with it. You're nothing but some home counties plastic, who latched onto his Sky favourite, probably aound May 2005, so don't try & tell me what a 'proper' football club is lad, as you haven't got a ****ing clue.
Exactly this, the players wages are ****ing absurd. Even 'low' paid premier league players earn 40k a week. FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS PER WEEK basic wage. Top players earn 4,5,6 times that and we're the ones who have to sustain it.
The wages and transfer cap should have been put in place years ago. Some may say it's too late but in twenty years time, they'll be repeating the same thing.
Taking the faux high ground is always a sure sign of the defeated, a place you know all to well Thomas
So you're saying the total rise is less than 5% of total matchday revenue (so less than Sterlings annual wages) & yet it's necessary in order for you to 'compete' which (in case you'd forgotten Rain Man) was your starting point?
calm down lad Higher wages -> Better players -> More trophies BTW, never bought Sky and am from Liverpool. Most of my family support Everton and I chose Liverpool when I was young enough to only care about kit colour
I haven't taken the highground, I've simply debated on whether a lobotomy would be the best course of treatment for you. I thought it wouldn't be, if that's any use to you, Toblerone.
I'd argue that the rise would put us closer the the prices other top clubs pay and thus closer to the wages they can pay. Or they just felt like putting the prices up, just for the craic. Come on, tell me your conspiracy theory, why have they put the prices up? Don't forget to put on your tinfoil hat.
What about these few beers before the Derby? I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get a ticket, but I wouldn't mind watching it in town
A bit rich coming from an NHS scivvy who's only chance of higher education is via the OU, suggesting that a person of my standing requires surgery of that nature....... You'll always be a loner love, forever on your todd.
We'd just have to meet earlier, then you can get off. I'm not going up to the ground without a ticket. I'd be too tempted to buy one at over the odds
getting silly lads, leave it out. obviously you 2 don't like each other but personnel insults no need for. someone who is working and trying to better there life by doing home study doesn't deserve that, at least he is making an effort to better his life unlike a lot of people out there.
The difference that the increase will make to your clubs ability to 'compete' is minimal - as you have already decided that it's less than Sterlings annual wage & yet your stance is that it's Ok, as you need to 'compete'. I would suggest your view is from the perspective of someone sat on their Mam's couch, watching a grainy internet stream in Belfast, rather than someone who has the annual ST cost to find.
