    Young . - 3 cr@p performances in a row.

and STILL he gets to take a penalty.

    professional footballers ?

    my arse .!

i started counting how long they kept possession when they got the ball..

The longest i counted was 12 seconds.

    w@nkerss!

it was racehorses against seaside donkeys .

Going out on penalties is always tough, but England was lucky to be in the penalty shoot-out anyway.

Young might be excellent at diving to win penalties, but should work on taking them.
It's poor when you have a £35m-striker on the pitch and a left-back steps up to take a key penalty.

The 4 best teams made the semifinals, two very good games to look forward to.

Young and Rooney were awful, Milner did a lot of defensive work but was useless going forward, Welbeck tried his best and you gotta give him credit for his efforts, and Gerrard was invisible.
The rest was alright I think, except the centrebacks who were exposed quite a few times by Balotelli.

Thats what happens when you don't mark Pirlo, he starts to control the game, and you start chasing the ball a lot. I reckon the guy is as good as Xavi.

I reckon Young has hypnotised Woy , " look into the eyes , not around the eyes , directly into the eyes......you will not take me off , you will think i am playing the best football you have ever seen , every time i give the ball away you will think i have made a great pass.................aaaaaand wide awake "

yer divvy , as soon as shrek made it back into the team , no other fecker gets to see the ball.

wide players, what wide players ?

straight down the middle , route one , for shrek and the pikey.

As long as the team revolves around those 2 we will win bugger all.

Im sure glad we all waited for shrek to make it back into the squad and save us all .:emoticon-0114-dull::emoticon-0114-dull:

    A footballing lesson from Pirlo.

England need to stop this Wayne Rooney obsession as well. for 120 mins Pirlo showed people how to play football. Better than Guardiola was in his prime.

And he starts above the Ox. It's an insult. England may as well use all our youth products, we're the only one's actually producing any quality players.

But nobody ever closed Pirlo down- he was free to do whatever he wanted.
And Italy often punted the long ball to Mario - shades of old English hoof ball.... where was the beautiful game?
They also had a poorer defence than ours - amazing.

    yeah you got that right.

I hope Rooney Young and Wellbeck keep up their terrific form for their club next season .

They would be lucky to finish second AGAIN .

edit , no thats not fair , Wellbeck was reasonable in all games.

Young was an embarrassment to England .

Its a good job we didnt progress , imagine the level of embarrassment the germans would have handed out to us.

Pirlo, a man that was getting hounded out of the game by Park Ji-Sung and being made to look slow and cumbersome in the CL a few years back. He was predictably given way too much space by England.

Anyway, I will be looking forward to watching a team I support being able to keep the bloody ball for more than ten seconds once the season starts. <ok>
