Your going up as champions Just as I predicted before the season started. Well pleased for you foxes. Always told you NP was a good manager. You have every chance of staying up as well. Believe
Thanks for your nice comments Suffolk. I honestly don't think we will be beating your 106-point record. Would mean taking 30 points from our remaining 12 games... 10 out of 12 wins!? I don't think so! I think for most, it's case of, we know we're promoted but we aren't ready to gloat...yet! Haha! I live near Reading, so have a bit of a soft spot for you guys. Didn't realise there were any Reading fans on this forum! Good win for you last night, what do you make of your chances of promotion?
There are a few of us who come on here occasionally, mostly the old BBC606 crowd. As for us this season its a complete unknown. We seem to win the games we shouldn't and lose, or draw, the games we should win. Far too inconsistent. Plus we have lots of distractions with takeover talk. Currently Madejski is back in control, so even if we were to successful through the play offs he's unlikely to spend money to strengthen the squad, and our current squad is nowhere near good enough for the prem. At the beginning of the season I predicted a top ten place with an outside chance of the play offs. I'll stick with that. But you're the outstanding team of the season so far. Hope you can keep it up. It'll be good to see Leicester back in the top flight. And I say that as someone who is old enough to remember the Frank Worthington, Steve Kember and Alan Birchenall team of the seventies.
Nice to have you here Suffolk and read your comments. Personally I have no current interest in the record points tally and only want to get that title wrapped up. With Burnley giving up a lead 3 times tonight and dropping 2 points it was a good night for us and leaves them 7 points (8 really with our superior goal difference) ahead with a game in hand for us. Glad that Wigan won again to crank up the pressure on the choking tree huggers It's getting pretty interesting for the battle for the play offs Best of luck Suffolk that you can sneak in there.
Just if anyone was wondering... We have 20 more points than we did after 34 games last season EDIT: AND, we have 10 more points than a certain DQPR did after 34 games, the season they won it And I remember thinking they were waltzing it at the time!
@mikemccarthy: Tonight’s results mean Leicester City now only require 14 points from an available 33 to mathematically secure automatic promotion. #lcfc
I don't think we'll hit 106 personally, although I think we'll be closer than any recent champions. I think we might just bust the 100 mark.
Should we win our game in hand we would be 10 points clear of Burnley and 20 clear of the sheep and the dramas ... nobody seems to want to make up ground
I really hope we're not going to let Burnley take our top spot! Come on Leicester, tomorrow just got interesting!
