Aris, that's dissapointing, but on the plus side we didn't lose which i thought what happen with the red card
Officials have potentially cheated us out of 4 points so far this season. I am ****ing livid. Far play to stoke, they did what we do and battled to the end, but FFS, the refs need to get a grip.
Unlucky lads you played really well and I'm 100% certain you will be safe. Peno and sending off harsh but you win some and you lose some. I'm happy with the point and you are probably right to feel robbed!
So we have to put up with arsehole refs, trying to ruin every fruckin game 2 pens and a bullshit red in our first 2 matches......... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......
Wait till you play the top clubs mate they get every decision it's something you will have to accept being in the prem!
I felt that with 11 we were the better side. That pen decison (Despite being saved) changed the match. clearly outside the area by some distance and he wasn't even the last man as cover was coming over from the centre. Unfortunately for us, as new boys I think we will be on the ****ty end of decisions like this far too often this season. Stoke started showing real quality after the pen and I think from that point on a goal was always coming. We have done that to so many sides over the past year or two and so no qualms over how late it was, just that with 11 on the pitch Stoke didn't really trouble us. Down to 10 our back line drifted deeper and deeper.
Listen up boys, we played bloody well, 11vs11 we looked excellent, passing good, movement good, solid at the back and sharp going forwards. In all fairness, if you accept the red as a legitimate decision (which it clearly wasn't) Stoke should have won given the chances they created against ten man Norwich. Odds stacked against us for twenty minutes and we still held out for the draw. A million positives to take from this game, and only one negative. I feel both robbed and satisfied. OTBC! CS
If anybody criticizes Ruddy after today, and not just for the penalty save, I will personally castrate them! (Sorry madam!)
Ruddy is a legend, we should be sitting on 6 pts now but just 2 . We can cut it in this league against 11 men but the man in black has influenced our results unfairly. Not my opinion cast iron fact.....
Didn't you watch MOTD? Norwich Town FC were lucky to have come away with a point against Wigan after Holly Weslahan scored despite being a defender. Wigan battered Norwich Town who will be relegated by christmas after manager Paul Lamson leaves for a real club.
Ruddy was superb today, some excellent saves and he came and collected well. De Laet was good today, only foot he put wrong all match was lettign Walters turn him like that. However, I do have some criticism of him Dave; I don't like his boots - he should be sub next week. Some very poor refereeing decisions, even unbiased commentary was saying hw wrong he got it and never even consulted the assistant. It was a good 3/4 yards outside the penalty box and the contact was minimal. That being said, Barnett should have attacked the ball and headed it safe but he misjudged it. I thought we battled very well, showed some excellent football and have certainly showed the world we aren't pushovers; we;re here to compete in the EPL. Slightly taken back by the selection of Chris Martin but I hold my hands up, he played well today....well, second half anyway. I hope Whitbread is fit for the next match as I wasn't too sure about Ayala.
