I seem to remember last time we played with three centre backs it went a bit wrong

 

YEP!! Didnt he change it in the first half, meaning he made a sub? Thing is he has the option of pushing naughton on and playing de laet at RB if needed. TBH i dont think it matters what formation we do

 

What formation is that, 5-4-1?

He's either going to play 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 and use Tierney and Naughton as wing backs

 

5-3-2 or 5-2-1-2... 4th match this season and is our 3rd different formation, do you think its good or bad trying to match a team rather than playing to our own strengths??

Interesting, 5 defenders plus the return of the Holy Trinity. Obviously going for the draw though...

In Lambert We Trust.

 

The last time we tried this formation it all went Pete Tong, I thought we would have learnt from that.

Pilks and Bennett were brilliant against Stoke; add to that Chelsea will likely lack width in their starting line up, I personally think it's the wrong decision.

I trust the players and Lambert, but I think he may well regret this decision.

I'd prefer to go out there and give it our all and risk losing heavily, then set up to defend against them.

 

Sorry, none of the above 10 posts or so appeared when I posted the line-up, hence why I repeated it.
