Yeah what a manager he was at wycombe

 

He didn't win it because of back to back promotions, he won it because he guided the team to automatic promotion at the first attempt having come up from the 3rd tier. A feat only done before by Man City I believe in the whole of the football league history - hence it was considered worthy of the award.

As I said previously mentioned - learn to live with it, move on with your life etc. Some things are far more important as to whether a manager wins an award or not Christ you guys would argue over the colour of the sky if a non QPR fan said is was blue

 

On a related subject I'm surprised that Norwich have done so well with a team that was in league one two seasons ago, plus I thought they were lucky to get automatic promotion - what with all those late goals gaining points they so nearly missed out on. (How many points were gained +90 mins?)

But I guess Canary fans would say that's a positive, having the fitness and determination to play for 96 odd minutes.

 

Had QPR done the same would you say they were lucky?
Cheap point scoring over each other is so sad to see, we were hoping your social skills would have improved in the last 7 months, clearly there is an inability to actually talk about a game without bitching over the same old crap every time our paths cross

I was answering one yours who said he got it because of previous promotions.As for back to back automatic promotions only you and man city have achieved, QPR did just this in 1966/67 and 1967/68 3rd tier to 1st tier.You boys just spout a load of made up facts to suit dontcha!!

 

Good job I didn't say it was a fact then - I said, I believe. Either way, would you agree it is a fairly unique achievement and worthy of recognition?
Had it been QPR that did it, under exactly the same scenario, would you get all worked up because your manager did not get the recognition for it? I suspect you would not be happy because it's your team.

I do not know how I would have felt if PL had not got the award but I know for certain I would not be arguing about it and letting it upset me to the point I would want to rant on about it .

 

Did he win MOTY the year the year before?, I believe you went up as champions.

That's the precedent that we as QPR fans are talking about, you lot would have been the same if Lambert hadn't got it that year.
So to sum up Lambert wins MOTY for winning 1st division and then gets the same award for scraping 2nd the year after in the champs.
