    Yep, you are right Tooting. Little Jessica passed sometime before that game although Gunny to his credit (?) played on but his mind was not totally on the game - hence we battered by Blackburn 7-1 the week before. Imagine being top of the PL and losing 7-1 <laugh>

    As you say, some things are more important though <ok>

    unfortunately hoopz field captain joe bar-ton committed his 5th violation and is suspended for this game.
    his likely replacement is shawn derree who will take up the midfield tackle position.

    Norwich should have an easy win, as we have Barton suspended and a few injuries. We're really poor when we can't field our best 11/12. No strength in depth till January (hopefully).

    While on paper the odds appear to be in our favour I do not think you will many many City fans on here who seriously think "easy", a lesson we learned following the home game with Donny last season.

    It's there for the taking and with our home record against you it looks promising for us but no under estimation on our part I can assure you.

    last season we had 8 first team regulars out injured when we beat you at carrow road. just goes to show that despite the problems a result can still be earned with a fighting display. <ok>

    Are you happy enough with the strength in depth of your current squad, or are there plans to strengthen in the January window?

    Personally I feel we need something more at the back. Now whether that is new players or not I am not sure. The current crop we have do have the potential but perhaps if we want to stay up that potential may not be realized quickly enough to ensure survival.

    Money is available to PL to buy players but he always keep his cards very close to his cheat when it comes to transfers. Would be hard to 2nd guess who he might have in mind but whoever they are, they are likely to be not much older than 24 or 25.

    Norwich v QPR (1500 GMT)

    Both clubs have surprised people by starting very well and QPR keep coming up with these away wins.

    Norwich have generally looked very good at home and they didn't disgrace themselves against an Arsenal side last weekend who are in top form.

    Both clubs have given themselves every chance of staying up and they have grasped the concept that if you can score goals in the Premier League you are halfway there.

    i think lambert will do what he did last january and the one before. strengthen each area of the pitch with one more player. i can see four new players coming in: centre half, centre midfielder, winger and a forward <ok>

    This looks like a real cracker. If we had our first 11 then i would fancy our chances of getting a result (draw or nick a win with a top calss performance). Without our first 11 we are very thin on the ground as regards quality and me thinks we might struggle on Sat against a very decent Norwich team
