Am i right in thinking that recently an option was added to make threads across multiple boards? Could we get this on the Wigan board too? EDIT: Just noticed it was. Sorry folks.
im looking forward to this great game for both teams (both think this is the games they need to win) and this possibly (no offence) is a 6 pointer game predictions guys me: 2-1 wigan
Hooray, the match threads are back! Just a warning though CS, you might want to make that EPL logo a bit smaller when we play Swansea
Hey Sports Fans! It's gameday! Lets go team Canaries! Can those travelling today please keep us updated on here because I'm going to be away from the pooter and TV all day!
As the season opener is finally here, it seems a good time to just say a quick thanks to all of you lot who've kept this site ticking over during the summer. It's been good to have somewhere to call home since the demise of old 606, and somewhere to sensibly discuss all things City. Special thanks to Dave and Thai for their mod duties (if only old 606 had been run as well!) One last thing. When things don't go our way this season, just remember Rodent, remember gutless loan signings, remember Charlton, remember reading the league one fixture list. We've waited long and hard for this, let's soak up every second. Damn it's good to be back! Right, down to business, I've still got a sneaky feeling we might pinch all three points. Tight game though, 2-1 City. OTBC
I echo Exile's sentiments. Whilst I can see the attraction of supporting, say, Manchester United (although I could only do that if I was from there!), it must get a little tedious knowing one season is much like the last. We can hardly say that about City, it's a roller-coaster all the way, and I love it! Fact is, we have no idea what this current squad is capable of. We are about to find out. Bring it on!
well team news in : WIGAN v NORWICH (1500) Wigan: Al Habsi, Boyce, Caldwell, Lopez, Figueroa, Gomez, McCarthy, Watson, Diame, Moses, Di Santo. Subs: Pollitt, Thomas, McArthur, Sammon, Jones, Rodallega, Stam. Norwich: Ruddy, Russell Martin, Whitbread, De Laet, Tierney, Fox, Surman, Hoolahan, Crofts, Holt, Morison. Subs: Rudd, Bradley Johnson, Jackson, Pilkington, Bennett, Barnett, Naughton. Referee: Stuart Attwell (Warwickshire)
The points at stake in this game could hinge entirely on that [incorrect] penalty decision, and maybe even our season. I can't help feel we will be seeing more of this bullshit this season...
1-1! Little Wesley Hoolahan! Al-Habsi spilled the ball at his feet 3 yards out. Makes up for the penalty that wasn't
Goal, Hoolahan punishes sloppy goalkeeping! Annoyingly, we should now be winning our first game of the season...
