When you get brought up with certain values that you adhere to it is hard to take a massive U Turn from the people that gave you this tollerence .;!
I just really find it hard to see the change in attitude and it only started after the referendum .!!

It depends which history you follow. There's an argument that the original inhabitants prior to the relatively recent Polynesians were blonde and ginger.

There actually is some, sadly:
They found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. ... And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones.... And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

The Bible does love a stoning.

Yeah, the Celts made it to the other side of the planet even before they crossed the Atlantic. Maybe that tunnel through the centre of the Earth in Jackson's Navigator is true. Or maybe the DNA tests were simply contaminated by, er, ginger-haired Celts? My ex is New Zealander (and a scientist) . She thought the theories were preposterous.
