Nearly all of the terrorist attacks are from Islamic groups the media don't even bother reporting on them anymore .

All terrorism is cowardly especially if they target innocent people in a market or holy temple but in perspective the New Zealand one is out of the ordinary .

The London Mayor has put armed police outside Mosques as a response to the threat of terrorism.

Still don't see what it has to do with what happened yesterday. Maybe there's a war in New Zealand I don't know about.

 

Will he do the same for churches and synagogues?

 

I'm not comparing the British Army with the Nigerian or Sudanese Army, my point was that the reason the British Army command respect and authority around the world is precisely because they are well organised and disciplined and act under accountability. It's when you take these checks and balances away that Officers and Soldiers start to act on their own motives.

It hasn't always been the case though and there are examples in the last 100 years of Rape and Murder being used as weapons of war by British Soldiers. During the end of World War II during the advance into Germany, there are instances of Rape of German women. In Malaya in the late 40's Villagers were executed by British soldiers. In Kenya in the 50's the British hanged over a thousand suspected rebels, when many of them were simply innocent civilians. And there are accounts of Torture by pushing pins into detainees fingernails and castrating them with iron rods.

I'm not here to denigrate the British Army, I think they do a brilliant job and a lot of it is non-combat rescue and relief work. But as I said, my point here is that for an Army to function effectively it needs to be disciplined and accountable under law.

It's got nowt to do with yesterday, which involved a far right nut with a massive chip on his shoulder against Muslims. However, you can't account for that sad bigoted hatred, the lowlife scum of this world...hope that filled any gaps i missed to state

 

You can discount as many terror organisations as you feel fit but there will still be nearly all Islamic terrorist attacks left .

The double standards and feeble attempts to categorise some posters on here is laughable, and says much about the accusers.

 

Correct I don't think anyone would disagree with that.

If you follow the old "nothing to do with ISLAM " mantra then it's just another 49 dead people because of evil scum bastards .

Add them to the hundreds of other poor souls killed by terrorists this month.

 

Nearly all I don't necessarily agree with but most, and most of the victims will also be innocent muslims. It's a sad state of affairs. There are others not involving muslims if you consider South America, Philipines, south african areas but those also don't get reported. All should be condemned.

I don't think Trump is likely to have influenced those much, I don't think he particularly gives a fck about wars in the middle east or elsewhere tbh. But yesterday's he has had some influence based on what the terrorist himself has expressed. It's like some nutcase ramming a car into pedestrians and quoting Anjum Choudhury in some premeditated manifesto, there'd be little doubt he had been influenced by him, either directly or indirectly.

The synagogues and Jewish schools near me have their own security teams. Have done for many years.

 

So just one month then. I wonder why that one was chosen. The link I posted covered a much longer period and shows that there is no preponderance of Muslim terrorism

 

The bloke who did the killing (hope the shoot him) must have metal issues to do such things.
