Chico has typical Spanish pride which is what makes so many good footballers great.
Smacks of poor man management to me if he has gone, and not good for Swansea City as we will find it very difficult to replace him with a player of equal quality, unless we are going to go for a lump it out of defence style.

**** me the players have not even dried themselves off after a shower at sunderland and the usual are putting negative posts. There is no rift between monk and the Spanish players and chico has not left the club <doh> Its all in your head or wishful thinking...Unbelievable some are on here..<ok>

Chico is currently on his way to Marbella, he's posted a photo of him with his Ferrari taking on Facebook taking a break from the driving.

Would this player come in as back up / play alongside Bony?
Alfreð Finnbogason 65 goals in 79 games for Helsingborgs
    £8, million

    http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/alfred-finnbogason/profil/spieler_90024.html

Then a right back (+back up if Jazz isn't going to play there or Tiendalli isn't going to improve), a back up left back (assuming Taylor is off), a stopper type in midfield and a goalkeeper and hang on to the rest.

Shelvey, Pablo, Michu, Emnes (with money from the sale of Ki), Routs, Pozuelo, Nathan, Fulton offer plenty in mid field (JdG if his loan is extended)

Nothing linking him with us but anyone think that Joe Cole (released) might be good for a year at the right price? He's experienced, plays football, works hard and could be a good fit with how we play. Just asking.....

Jack Colback? Haven't seen him play for a while, so may not be worth the punt, but doesn't he do the sort of role we are missing in midfield, the more box to box midfielder? But then doubt he would get close to the first team with the mids we have.

Thought about Sidwell, but not fussed on his age, would rather get a younger player in who can learn our style before he hits OAP status.

On the heels of a possible move by Taylor , we appear to be hot on the the heels of Falkirks Stephen Kingsley , a leftback
