£6M according to the Mail, this one might be made up. If they added a 2 in front of that 8 then it would represent real value if Shaw went for the £30M+ as reported.
Very tenuous link... "Swansea City could look to France again to sign another Summer target, with Marseille winger Dimitri Payet now linked with a move. Following the arrival of French striker Bafetimbi Gomis on a free transfer, Payet is now available as Get French Football News report that Marseille are offering the player to a number of Premier League clubs. He's apparently been placed on the transfer list to acquire funds for another target - he could cost as much as €8.5 million. Get French Football News was a reliable source in the lead up to Gomis completing his move to Swansea City. Regarding Payet, they also reported: Although discussions are at an early stage, Get French Football News reported that Marseille had offered Payet to a number of Premier League clubs.' Of course, Newcastle United have also been linked with the winger, and the Swans could compete again with the Magpies for another Frenchman. On his debut for Marseille, he scored two goals within 15 minutes as his side won 3-1. He scored a further 5 goals in 26 appearances since his move there in 2013 from Lille. The 5ft 9inch winger has played all of his football in the French leagues so far. He has also served his country at under-21 and senior level, with 7 full caps for France. He was linked with moves to Liverpool in 2011 and Arsenal in 2013."

They spunked £80.000.000 last year spending Bales money as if it was going out of fashion , I can't imagine Levy making that mistake twice .they're going had to sell a few of the misfits first I think
They paid £30 million for that winger who never kicked a ball so they can have Bony for £60 million
Well best we send Valley to the negotiations, because all our players are sold way below what they are worth (Joey aside). Valley put yourself forward.
The one problem we do have is that we will lose bony for about 6 weeks early in January anyway as he joins the national team for the Africa cup. It's a bad time to lose a player of his caliber especially if we are lagging behind and need points...
Is that why we signed Gomis, Not only because of this but if we have the 2 it is a nice problem to have.
