I'm really pumped; tomorrow will be the first time I've actually gotten to see the Nations Cup! Pretty keen to see how it works.
Will be great, I'll watch it with you. Haha. Some nice cars and racing. Also I have just heard Chandok and Narain have won the Team Asia cup hahahhaha
Some good photos of the track being built here:http://raceofchampions.com/pages/multimedia/images.aspx?gid=2202 Interesting that despite the change in venue the track remains fundamentally the same as the Dusseldorf one. The only notable difference is that the chicanes look a bit easier to negotiate by the looks of picture 17.
While I have to congratulate Germany on their domination, I don't like that they turned up to the stadium after everyone else had done their practice time, changed the track to their liking, and were the only ones that got to drive the revised track. Anyway, as far as the Champion of Champions goes, I'm expecting an upset and tipping Benito Guerra. He looks the most promising rookie this year. I hope Whincup and Doohan can pick up the pace.
I'm thinking the Top 8 will be: S. Ogier B. Guerra T. Kristensen A. Priaulx S. Vettel J. Lorenzo M. Schumacher R. Grosjean
Massive lol at Lorenzo for having a worse start than all of Webber's combined He actually had decent pace, but a fair few spills as well. I actually stayed at a mates place last night to watch it (he actually has Fox), but sadly I do not have Fox, so I'm just going to sign in to the ROC site and watch the live timing.
ROC appear to have gone incredibly strict on internet streaming; the only place I could find is a YouTube channel called "DRIVE", but the video for it isn't available in Australia
Thank you silver Saves me having to use ROCs so-called "Live Timing" (I imagine it'll be updated when hell freees over). Shame for JW, but the back of the cars have been stepping away all weekend. It'll come to him with more experience of this methinks.
