I'm a strong atheist. You missed out the bit that people walking on water and coming back to life after being dead for however many days. That is just plain stupid, I don't understand how a grown man can believe that nonsense.

Believing in god, really is no different to believing in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. It's the 21st century ffs. The vast majority of troubles across the world have been in the name of religion. It should be outlawed right around the globe so mankind can rid us of this nonsense and progress to our next level.

A refusal to accept the existence of a mythical being of which there is zero proof of, isn't a belief system it's a refusal to belief in something when there is no proof. I don't believe in the existence of fairies or Santa Claus for exactly the same reason

On a separate issue, I would separate Religion from Spirituality. Religion for me is doctrine that is used as a political tool to suppress people, tell them how to thinks and keep them in line. It’s also he root cause of much of the worlds problems. You do not need religion to have a sound moral compass or understand the difference between good and bad. And you do not need religion to access your own spirituality.
