Like the look of MAZURI COWBOY at 18-1 for the chase at Market Rasen tomorrow. Runs off a mark he has already won off in Ireland and switch to the shrewd Ellison yard could bring about even more improvement.

Like the look of Pantxao if he can out a couple of bad runs behind him has slipped to a handy mark which could just bring him back to some of his better form

He should win Bob on ratings and has a decent first time out record.

He also goes unpenalised for his G1 and G2 wins since they were before Sept last year and this doesn't look strong compared to his previous wins but for a Listed event it has a 111,113 and 115 in the field.

He has been out of training for a period and his return to the track was not a long term plan.

GL but for me he is short enough at 7/4.

We're on about a different horse mate.

I wouldn't touch Al Kazeem tomorrow.

In that 1.45 at MR does anybody (Bustino,Fulkes,Ron mainly) know if the colours carried by Macnamara,No9,are those that used to carried by Approaching?

I remember him when I was 10 finishing 4th in a CGC after winning the Hennessy a year or two earlier in 1978 or so..don't remember that..a year before I got interested!

Sorry Dexter not sure about Approaching: Eric Parker is quite a well established owner though..

As I'm on here, while Arethusa looks a good thing in the 7f 2yo fillies maiden at Newmarket, I will be taking an interest in first time out Thunder in Myheart and how she performs. Nicely bred by 2nd season sire Mastercraftsman she should be suited to today's distance. Louis Steward will take 5lb off this filly and not worried about him riding as Bell seems to be using him a good deal. Thunder in Myheart 3.05 Nt E-W.

I'm backing Volume as well in the Irish Oaks

5/1 is a terrific each way bet.

    14:55 Market Rasen - Purple Bay e/w

(Worth a small go e/w at the 15/1 currently on offer with Willie Hills. Has run some decent races in defeat, and can defy the 5lb. rise in the weights which is more than offset by a good claimer).

GL today one and all! Will now bask in the sun; pretty hot down here. Daughter and son-in-law are climbing some bloody mountain in the Tyrol <yikes>.
