Guys, it has been very quiet on the board for the last week, so I thought that we could have a dedicated award thread where we acknowledge some of the contributors of this boards for their hard work over the last year or so.
Hopefully this will work as well as some of the similar ones on the football boards...

Best Poster: In short, who you think is the poster that you have thought is generally the best to the board.
Best Newcomer: The poster that has made the most impact since August 2011.
Funniest Poster: The poster that has made you laugh the most.
Best thread: The best thread that has been made since the start.
Most helpful person: The poster that has most helped advance the board into a respectable F1 board the most.
Best signature: Your favourite signature.
Special mention to: Mentioning a Member that you just wanna say thank you to.

I hope you find the time to comment on it, since it would help people recognize some member deserve praise for what has come to be.

Let's hope that the recent shake up proves positive and determined enough to encourage some of our more illustrious friends from the past to reappear soon in the New Year; in plenty of time for the coming season. I hope you'll be pleased to know that I'm pretty sure at least one you've mentioned looks in quite often, without leaving evidence&#8230;

Best thread: I was going to nominate this even if it hadn't been brought back - the Cows thread? Also Canadian Grand Prix for the length
Most helpful person: BLS/AG/El_B, I can't pick between them, all have been great mods.
Best signature: Pass- I've turned signatures off.
Special mention to: PMC/LewisWDC/etc... for uniting us all in a common cause.
 
We have got to have one of the best forums out there you know.

My turn, and its a differcult one:

Best Poster: Now this is probably the hardest, Many names spring to mind and I'm afraid I could fulfill the clique and name you all. Theres Cosi always full of the detailed stuff, and Forza who knows what Ferrari are up to before even the media, and who usually sets up the race threads. Then theres DHC, always a very fair poster! I could go on but I think to leave it at three is sufficient.
Best Newcomer: The Ninja Kirby - Took on the sweepstakes and made a real Mark (Webber[slap me sorry]) on the forum.
Funniest Poster: SgtBhaji - if in doubt throw wit at it :p
Best thread: Driver, Moo? And Sportys Driver of the day merlarky
Most helpful person: AG and El_B, a lot of effort which is sometimes hidden. Also, you may not be aware of him but Syd, the sites uber mod has helped us a lot.
Best signature: Can't say I really pay much attention sorry , oops
Special mention to: Everyone who has stuck with us through thick and thin. I was probably a few weeks behind some getting on here so and extra thanks to those who took me in then too.

I'm trying to post my nominations... But finding it really tough to pick individuals for some as there's so many to choose from. Arrrrrrrrrggggggghhh... the pressure is too much! :)

Oh.. I forgot one more thing. Can I vote for myself on the sig section? Clearly anything Mansell related beats all. :p

Best Newcomer: This place still feels new to me so everybody feels new. I'll go with Kirby too.
Funniest Poster: So many funny posts and so little time. allsaintschris, BrightLampShade & Sambomajambalovesleeds (Still not sure what he likes about LEDs, but apparently he does)... sure I'm missing some.
Best thread: Anything that has Cosi attempting to reason with Martial. :P But...I'm going for the Rolling F1 Picture Game though. Good fun and filling in the off season beautifully. :)
Most helpful person: That has to go to all of the Mods. I've dipped my toe in to modding on forums in the past and it's thankless task. I don't know how they put up with it. Take a bow!
Best signature: Mine... obviously. And if you disagree then you're clearly wrong. (Mansell beats all.. He's the Chuck Norris of F1) :p
Special mention to: The community as a whole. Really loving it here, so special mention goes to everybody for keeping it all together! :D
