Two performances of note for me today. The Gosden newcomer at Haydock (some stupid Arabic name,c'mon Weatherbys!;agree with McCririrck on this) was really taking. Secondly,the young Downey Fella at Leopardstown...some value for 7lb's...seized the race halfway up the stretch and always aware what was around him...stylish and strong. Different gravy to most of the UK apprentices and no doubt another pony racing graduate.
