Went out on Sunday night. My housemate got engaged, she's been trying to hook me up with her nurse mate (they're all nurses). But she was boring, now the girl I drank next to was lovely, marriage material. Very pretty, had a good rapport.

Except she was married. She was complaining about how her husband never comes out etc etc. But she loved him.

Fast forward to Monday night, housemate gets a phone call. Her husband only went and told her he doesn't love her anymore and left.

How long do I wait? :bandit:

I think you've already waited too long

Housemate stayed at hers last night. I text her asking how she was. Hope she mentioned I was asking after her.

She took her Facebook down before I could add her as a friend. When I next see my housemate I'll mention to her that Sophie can stay anytime she wants. She probably doesn't want to stay in her house with all those memories. They'll probably share a bed too. :bandit:

You should volunteer your bed then wonder in there in the middle of the night and get in bed with her. If she asks what you're doing say you went to the loo and went into autopilot mode and went back to your bed. If she doesn't make a fuss... you're in <ok>

Rachel Riley... if she wasn't a United fan she'd be near on perfect.

Good looking, into football & good at maths. Phwoaaaar

I've found out the the bitch who ****ed my head up is back in town. She lives most of the time in her flat in St Ives. However, she's bought her youngest daughter a coffee shop and she's back up helping her to get it off the ground. I'm hoping to bump into her, just so I can tell her to **** off <laugh>

Got to be careful with that approach. Many years ago (honest), a rather fit & attractive lady I knew was having problems with her fiancee. She came to mine for the weekend, we had a few beers, lots of talking and a bit of gentle fun & games. She had mentioned that her "man" sometimes hit her. I told her she should leave anyone who would do that. No-one should put up with it. I also wouldn't let her have sex, as she was still engaged to him (jeez, even now I can't believe the self-control).

The next day, she went back home, kicked him out the house and never spoke to him again. We then saw each other for a couple of weekends and I realised she was a complete bunny boiler. Apparently my chivalry and refusal to have sex added to the fact that on my sayso she dumped him, made her feel like she owed her life to me. Soon after realising she was a complete clingon, I dumped her. Didn't help that the following weekend I had "relations" with the girl that sat next to her at work.

The scary one lived 60 miles away, but every night (EVERY NIGHT) after work would drive to mine and stay in her car outside, just watching - she wouldn't leave until midnight. Carried on for 3 weeks and I got proper scared. Kept thinking I'd wake up one morning with my knackers in a jar by the side of the bed.

Anyway, that was a while ago. All grown up now with a wife, 2 kids and big mortgage.

My advice - make the most of it, have some fun, go on a "boys" holiday and get it out of your system. If it was meant to be, it was. If not, don't try to manufacture it too much, otherwise you might end up with a fatal attraction!
