Well that didn't happen As I forecast, Bolton will have secured 5th place before the final day. Based on my forecast results (which are less optimistic than previous forecast) this is how I see the battle for 6th place, with Peterborough edging it
Anyone fancy Wycombe for promotion? 66/1 readily available, as is 14/1 for top 6 finish Ipswich now fav for promotion at odds varying from 11/10 to 10/11
Ipswich Town Columnist " We were outstanding, Wycombe are not a bad side, according to the league table, but we made them look like a pub team. The difference in quality was astonishing." That bad? Or are Ipswich a good long term bet for promotion next season?
It just goes to show Ron how predicting results can go haywire for the 10th April out of the five teams only ours was correct
It's a p*ss take that they won't lose the the 3 points until New Years Eve. They broke EFL rules this season so they should be docked 3 points now not in the future.
I think it's been suspended until New Year which is meaning if they don't do anything else it will be like a court suspended sentence. They will end up with no punishment at all. I wonder if that was say Burton or Cheltenham the punishment would be so non existent. Good old football league though they never disappoint do they.
Cambridge results in April Port Vale away won 2-0 Fleetwood home won 2-1 Bolton away drew 1-1 Peterborough home won 2-0 Next game Wycombe home
I agree. Other teams slipping up put us in with an excellent chance but we blew those chances with only getting 1 point from 6 against MK and Morecambe
Looks like Accrington have gone, unless they can win their game against Oxford and Cambridge lose both their games. Can't see Cambridge losing both games which then puts MK Dons at high risk
Burton who were odds on for the drop having a big say in who goes down both home games Cambridge tonight and franchise on Sunday just hope they do the right thing lose tonight and win on Sunday
