I think he's proven he's not worth anything like what you sold him for!

The Chavs would pay £90m for him now though as they are in a right proper mess. Some might say that they're a ****ing shambles.

Really? Had a very good first season and is on fire this year. Put him in this Spurs side and he'd be unstoppable.
Don't forget, he's got that spoilt bellend from Portugal dictating everything at RM.

    That's debatable.

But, it's what Levy does. Contrary to Wum opinion, he only sells top players when they demand a transfer. Then, he screws the buyer for every last penny.

We shouldn't have sold him, IMO.

Great player, not worth anything like what Real paid for him.

    Harsh assessment of Zidane.

I'd say he was worth every penny when you factor age and future potential marketing and shirt sale revenue he'll create etc for the club.

  11. And the amount of excuses coming from Gooners to appease their massive butthurt is surreal.

  12. We no longer need him, Stan. Have you seen the table recently?

It is disappointing, but no excuses from me, you have been the better team this season.

TBH I think finishing above us this season will be an afterthought for you guys considering how close you are to the title.

It's a local rivalry that matters to both teams, but winning titles is the dream. I think we have a team to compete with you even when you've sorted yourselves out. Very important to us. Season is often very dull for us at this time of year.

Next season should be interesting. With Pep at Manchester City and Chelsea surely back competing, Arsenal will need to up their game if they want to avoid being left behind.

At least one club from North London still represents at the top of the table. Will you be able to build on this season (whatever happens). Who knows?

Got to give a87 some credit here. Showing a lot more dignity than the likes of PISKIE.

HIAG, has he deleted your bet thread? It needs a bump

I'm comfortable not being banded in the same camp as CFC, HIAG and A87 to be fair :)

    That is just banter/WUM fodder.
The reality is that finishing above your lot has been an important marker as it means that
a CL slot has been gained (2010/2012 being the exceptions) .

I am one of those who have long believed that losing your CL slot for one season is
the only red-hot poker jab that could prompt your owners into suitable action.
I mean, assuming the PL table stays as it is, some can still dismiss this season as a
one-off and say you still got CL next season. And the cycle repeats again.
