The North London Power-Shift

Arsenal may have to concede the power has shifted, if they lose tommorow.

One thing that can be guaranteed, is that if Arsenal do lose to us, it is going to be absolute bedlam on their board.

All of us benefit from that.

 

While most neutrals are always happy to see the gooners suffer, no one likes to see a smug yid. Shame you can't both lose really.

 

To be fair, AR, you don't see many smug Yids. Sure, on this board, there's going to be some rampant bragging, but that's purely to wind up certain key individuals, who've well and truly been asking for it, for a very long time. You couldn't deny us that pleasure!

But, overall, I am confident that you'd find the Gooners on this site, and in general, utterly unbearable if they won the league. Plus, look at the way some of their fickle fans throw their toys out of the pram every time they lose or draw. That's because they arrogantly believe that they have the right to win the title this year, when their side is clearly suffering from the cheap-skate buying tactics of their dinosaur manager. In reality, they deserve nothing.

 

As has been said many times, with the crap Chelsea, City, and Utd have been playing, if they don't win it this year, they probably never will. Not with Whinger in charge, anyway.

 

They haven't got a chance next season, and they seem to refuse to want it this season.

 

True. Whinger used to be the yardstick for managers. But he's now too stubborn, too set in his belief that he knows best, and worst of all, if you're a Gooner, in self denial too!

Problem for them is that after all these years with one manager, they're afraid of change.

 

If I was a gooner, and I knew we were keeping on with Wenger next season, i'd seriously consider just packing it all in. Take Fat Sam, he did a great job getting us back into the Prem (again) and stabilizing the ship. But we knew he had reached his limit, now Bilic has taken the reigns and we are doing fantastic. Onwards and upwards.

Arsenal are just terrified of life without Wenger. Why? They have the resources and infrastructure (ton of credit given to Wenger of course) in place to move onwards and upwards, they just want to stagnate, do the same thing over and over..
