No, you do have to earn your place in the top 4. As I previously mentioned, Chelsea, Utd and Liverpool have spent enormous sums and have all had seasons out of the top 4. Simply spending the money isn't a guarantee that you will finish in the top 4.

Wenger finishing in the top 4 for 20 straight seasons is a big achievement, no matter how much you'd like it not to be. As I've also mentioned, if a Spurs manager had done likewise, you'd be heaping praise on him.

 

Wow all I pointed out was that Spurs haven't actually won anything this season (or in recent memory) and they have got their knickers in a twist !

I hate to think how badly they would react if we were to win an actual trophy this year (FA Cup) and they come 2nd because as far as I know no one gives out a trophy for 2nd in the League
