The likes of 'Pool, Arsenal and Chelsea always raise their game against us.

I think 'Pool took Burnley too lightly and paid the price.

In the spirit of banter - and remember that Pixie doesn't understand how banter works - I put forward the argument that, as the game is a lot harder these days, with a much more level playing-field of spending power spread among several clubs, it will obviously be a lot harder for any side to go an entire season unbeaten, and that Spurs going half the season unbeaten would be the equivalent of Arsenal when they did their "invincibles" seasons, back in the times of mullets and ridiculously short shorts.

It was a large net, cast extremely widely, and I caught some fantastically juicy Gooner fishies. I never expected to catch you, mate. I'm very disappointed.

In fairness to me mate, I hadn't actually seen the post where you had said about the Invincibles and 19 games unbeaten etc, I only had heard it from third hand talk.
I was expecting you to have come up with some convoluted calculation based on the last 49 times you hadn't lost and compiled them together for some arbitrary reason.
If I had seen the post you had actually put, there is no way I would have deemed it as serious.
