I know not what is more disturbing. Harry Redknap could have a sister like the picture, or someone creates this with photoshop.
And I was there to witness it. Still have a video of highlights taken from an Aussie tv programme, but for some reason I can't upload them to YouTube.
Sounds like a hint of handball - like Henderson last night. The Middlesbrough bloke expected Darius to owe up to it! You know if Burnley do go up we'll hear endless comments about how we were wrong to get rid of Dyche. Easy to say with hindsight.
Without the benefit of hindsight, let me be the first. I do still think that the club were wrong to sack him....
I seem to remember without the benefit of hindsight most of us were not happy that Sean was not even given a chance here. Because Zola did so well we then let it go - but it seems he will have the last laugh
I agree he was harshly done by but I don't think Dyche would have stuck around being told to who to buy and even play TBH... What it does prove is that a good man manager can be very good with a settled squad and players used to the Championship. Maybe the Pozzs/Nani could learn a thing or two from that.
I think that teams that have had points deductions could have some of them back at the end of the season, but only if it doesn't affect their final league position. I've used 2 current examples, Hearts and Coventry, to explain what I mean. Hearts are currently 20 points behind the team above them and if it is still the same at the end of the season, their 15 points penalty will be erased. Coventry are 3 points behind the side above them, with a superior goal difference, so they would receive 2 points back. If the team win their division despite the deduction, you then look at club and division records - if they are below both, the number added back will take them to 1 below the lower of the 2 records. If they are above at least 1 of them, they don't get any back. It is a way of making sure that as little as possible of the on-field efforts are wasted.
Personally I find that mind-blowingly stupid. Why on earth give deducted points back if doing so makes no difference to the final standings?
http://www.football-league.co.uk/fo...gue-statement-on-leeds-united_2293334_3712038 Looks like the FL are going to cave in over the Weeds latest 'unfit and improper' owner application....
I may not understand how the words work fully and the text might indicate that the FL are happy with what they have been told and will let the Italian man take Leeds United. I think the text means the FL have asked questions and are happy to have answers they can make a decisisin with. - Have you money? - Yes. is not as good as. - Have you money? - Yes, and this is where it comes from. Here are my company and private investment records.
I don't think the FL have ever cared where the money has come from, simply can they prove they have it for the short and medium term! I think the guy has a court case coming up in the next week or so on tax fraud, so expect they are delaying a final decision until after that has been settled! If the guy doesn't come in, it does sound like Leeds are pretty much screwed, currently losing about £1m a month!
Some people just won't help themselves will they? I'm all for giving someone a second chance but he's approaching double figures.
The woes of Leeds continue as well. http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....found-guilty-of-tax-evasion-updated-1-6504825 It seems that only his money has kept them afloat for the past few months. What now?
