Norwich board were obviously so unimpressed they have sacked David Wagner !

Guess it was a promotion or bust this situation.

 

To have made the play-offs after their up and down season is probably as much as you would hope for. Daniel Farke knows how to get teams promoted, but not how to keep them in the EPL when the squad is not strengthened.

 

I can't imagine that too many professional football clubs have one of these within their stadium area - so this may be the last of them if East Kilbride manage to win at Stair Park this afternoon and end Stranraer's 75 year stay in the upper reaches of Scottish football.

 

Brighton and head coach De Zerbi are parting company by mutual consent after two years.

Final day of the National league season this evening, all games being played at the same time. Chateauroux took what seemed like a huge risk by replacing their head coach with only two games to go, but it has worked out. The name of the man in charge now, Antoine Sibierski seemed familiar, but I didn't know from where. After a search, I found he had played for Man. City and Newcastle from 2003 to 7. It seems to have been an even larger risk, when you find this is his first coaching job. Hope he does well tonight as he has seven first team regulars injured.

 

The bandstand remains. Two goals in the final three minutes of extra time saw Stranraer win 3-1.

I remember the referee at the away game being a colour ignorant arse. The OUFC kit officially had blue shorts and stockings, as did our away kit. Apparently their very navy blue, almost black, was still a clash with our Sorrento blue. So Watford were forced to wear OUFC pale yellow change shorts and stockings with our silver and blue striped shirt. Awful.
