Would have probably been like the Stevenage game . On top but not taking our chances and being made to pay like Luton were .
Luton made ten changes for that game and Edwards has made a grovelling apology to the Luton fans that travelled to the game
Someone at the PGMOL will be in big bother now . Seems they forgot to draw some lines to decide on an offside decision in the Liverpool/Spurs game .
Liverpool exploring their option. I presume legally or a re-match. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66978938 They won't get far as no one can prove what the final result would have been but obviously this was more than people just making an honest error subjectively. They weren't even doing the basics of the job.
Liverpool whinging about "sporting integrity being undermined" They're joking aren't they? There's no such thing in football.
Feel sorry for whoever has Liverpool next . They might as well not bother turning up as VAR will very much be against them .
I wonder if they remember Ian Rush tripping over a blade of grass to win a penalty against us. Oh , it was at Anfield. Fancy that.
It was on the tip of my fingers to type that too - although I thought it was at the Vic in an FA Cup replay back in the 80s. Not that I saw it - but it cost me a small fortune to find out the result. I was living in Oz at the time - and the club had a dedicated telephone results service, which I kept ringing and ringing but only got a recorded message saying no results available. I eventually rang a friend in Watford, who had just returned from the match.
Bottom of the table looks great - apart from Sheff Utd in last place. Seeing the next three, Bournemouth, Burnley and Luton, warms the cockles of your heart...
