The passes and dangerous attacks were even worse - made me wonder if Leicester were even in the pitch.
Funny thing is they almost won it but Pope made a good save . I think they will beat West Ham but Everton win v Bournemouth.
Didnt deserve a point really..... I am not sure whether I prefer Everton or them to go down.... selfishly Everton are a fairly close drive for us yorkies...and of course having Leeds and Sheff W/Barnsley back are really close.....
"they" will not allow neverton to be relegated. It's the one game in an EPL season that I will not go to.
Last day of the season for French National 3, and a mass of crucial games for many clubs. Because League 1 is being reduced from 20 to 18 clubs next season, 4 teams are to relegated, instead of 2. By the time you get to league 3 six teams are to lose their place in the division. As there are only 18 currently, it means that a third of the teams will go to regional leagues. Chateauroux have been sucked into this dog fight as half the first team are out injured, and the reserve players are still youngsters. They are up in Paris tonight and a win will see them safe, but any other result will leave them seeing what happens to others around them. I will be watching, but a stressful evening is ahead I think.
Didn’t realise Toney had been betting on his own side and even when he scored - probably lucky to not get banned more
An embarrassing night for Ayr United - after losing the first leg of their play-off semifinal 0-3 in Glasgow, they contrived to lose the home leg against Lee Hodson's Partick Thistle 0-5.
And had their star striker sent off too. A bad night all around. Thistle looked impressive though - can they win promotion?
As football fans we do put ourselves through it. Chateauroux 2-0 up and cruising, well clear of relegation, then two lapses and all square, meaning that they will be for the drop. Then a corner with 10 minutes to go, the Paris keeper flaps at the ball, but doesn't clear it, loose ball headed in, so 3-2. End to end stuff now, and 5 added minutes. They hang on, stay up, and I will get my Friday evening football again next season.
Depends who they play really. It's likely to be Ross County, who I think would be too strong for them - but what do I know - I tipped Albion Rovers to ease past Spartans.
It's all happening in Germany with Bayern 2-1 up at Köln and B.Dortmund losing 2-1 at home to Watford twin town Mainz. Dortmund missed a penalty at 19' which would have doubtless settled the nerves... Hands Bayern the title.
Only just - Dortmund equalised with a minute to go. If they had scored again, Bayern would have been red-faced - they had been celebrating the title for a few minutes. Oddly, watching the celebrations at Cologne I'll swear I heard Loch Lomond playing over the tannoy.
One of the official songs of FC Köln (Mer stonn zo dir) is based on the melody of Loch Lomond. Unfortunately BVB blew it completely today and Bayern became champions in Cologne - a tragic circumstance which is against the Kölsch Grundgesetz and should be against the law completely
