I think the EFL ought to have helped Coventry City out here. Having the 7's there and then expecting to play professional football just days later was a ridiculous notion.
Par for the course back in the day - I remember the Vicarage Rd pitch being in far worse condition. For example, the 1970 cup match against Liverpool. Footballers today don't know they're born.
I have no problem with it, Fez. In fact, I rather like it. So many players need to find some discipline. If it takes the officials to help them understand the minimum requirements, so be it.
