Liverpool supporters already panicking about our current away form Maybe too pumped We will see I still think the advantage is with City Momentum has shifted but that could easily shift back tomorrow Not to mention playing Watford who killed our record So lots could still go wrong
Chelsea announce they are unable to sell tickets for the FA Cup quarter-final away at Middlesbrough and they have made a request for the game to be played behind closed doors. I don't see why Boro should lose out to accommodate Chelsea. How entitled do they feel?
Boro have responded. We are aware of Chelsea's request to have Saturday's Emirates FA Cup sixth round tie played behind closed doors and find their suggestion both bizarre and without any merit whatsoever. All concerned are well aware of the reasons Chelsea have been sanctioned and that this has nothing to do with Middlesbrough Football Club. To suggest as result that MFC and our fans should be penalised is not only grossly unfair but without any foundation. Given the reasons for these sanctions, for Chelsea to seek to invoke sporting "integrity" as reason for the game being played behind closed doors is ironic in the extreme.
How could that happen anyway - Boro fans have brought tickets, the VIP boxes would have been sold, programs done, catering planning in place etc. It would cost Boro loads if they lost all that and had to pay people back.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed his Chelsea team cannot fly to Middlesbrough and instead face a 10-hour round-trip coach journey. Poor souls.
Oh dear - not enough injury time and the ref let the opposite team waste time . Welcome to our world Man U!
A spectator has got on the pitch at the Everton game and somehow in a flash attached himself to the goal post. The ground staff have taken five minutes to release him, and half the police on duty to carry him away. Never seen anything quite like that before.
