And Burnley won’t be able to cover that with mass merchandising sales/big sponsorship deal or ramping up prices which fans still pay to an extent as it’s Man I.
Least no Southampton fans traveled up for that this time unlike the Leicester game. And having a man sent off didn't help. With right decisions might have "only" been 8-1...
I am sure that will please them no end How would the Pozzos deal with a manager who has lost two games nine nil
Liverpool losing at home again. And there are a few away wins generally it seems so maybe no crowds is having a real impact.
I think you're right Mark. The lack of the 'twelfth man' is having a real influence on many clubs who would normally be strong at home.
Liverpool's Champions League round-of-16 first-leg match at RB Leipzig will not be able to take place in Germany, government officials have confirmed. The German government has banned entry on all arrivals from areas affected by Covid-19 mutations until at least February 17, with the only exceptions made for German citizens or residents.
I can't see the European competitions continuing in their present form Frenchie, not this season. Arsenal and Benfica have also contacted EUFA with the request that their Europa League tie is played at a neutral venue. Two legged football is simply not practical (or necessary) at the moment.
They'll go down the one legged tie again I feel. And have the semi finals and final in one place if they can.
That just reminded me of the picture someone posted in Facebook the other day - of Ron Wigg looking as though his left left leg had been chopped off at the knee.
I wonder how long the Spurs fans will accept José Mourinho and his style of play whilst they slop down the table?
I think Liverpool have been hit by the lockdown more than any other club in the Premiership Duggie - they'll be back again next year. It's no coincidence that those clubs which had home fortresses are struggling with playing in empty stadiums, and appear to be just going through the motions. The same is true at places like Dortmund and at Feyenoord - those stadiums which made the most noise are now the most ghost like. For the time being we must live with the Abu Dhabi all stars dominating the league and the BBC drooling about them and conveniently forgetting how financial cheating got them there.
