Nothing changed it seems yet but like Ivic probably only a couple of poor results from being under pressure.
Ross County's match tonight was played in front of spectators. 300 allowed in - must have nearly doubled their average...
An odd game at Torquay in the cup. Crawley scored in the 14th minute of added time to make the score 2-2. Torquay scored in the 18th minute of added time to take the lead again - only for Crawley to equalise again in 21st minute of added time. In an action packed period of extra time, Torquay scored twice to lead 5-3, then Crawley scored three times in ten minutes to win 6-5. After playing for 2 hours and 21 minutes, I guess both sides were just knackered towards the end.
I think justice was done when de Bruyne missed that penalty - it was a ridiculous decision to award it in the first place. It's getting to the stage where players will need to take their arms off before the games start...
Bit like the Leicester penalty against Wolves earlier. Silly rule and I don't think either were given by the one pitch ref straight away which says something.
The rules in attack and defence must be the same If the ball makes any kind of contact with an attacker and a goal is scored it is then disallowed so therefore the same must apply in defence The way it should be is if the handball was intentional or not but that is subjective and not easy to prove even with VAR The madness is that you could end up with the only goals allowed are penalties and goals from open play are disallowed because a ball may have brushed an attackers arm or HE IS OFFSIDE BECAUSE HE POINTED TO WHERE HE WANTED THE BALL PLAYED The game was much more enjoyable when it was solely;y down to the ref or lino with the fourth official maybe offering an opinion Technology f***s everything it doesn't actually improve
Am glad I'm not a Northampton fan - Oxford City really are making the Cobblers live up to their name...
Think there might be a vacant role and a sacking at the FA soon.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54878817
Seems that he didn't wait. I wonder who would be suitable? There is an ex-MEP looking for work now he has lost his friend.
Watching the Serbia v Scotland game - I've never known time pass so slowly. And Serbia equalise in the last minute...
I think it might be fair to say that Scots are happy with that result... Hmm - it seems you have to click on the 'Watch on Facebook' link...
Certainly one of the best from an era when England was lucky to produce a succession of good keepers. I didn't know that he had been ill for so long, so I hope that he now can find some peace.
