Agreed. I do wonder just how the insurers will react. Companies do have the reputation for looking for ways out of their obligations.
I don't expect the pilots estate or public liability will have enough value either... This one could run and run.... Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Just seen, in the guardian this morning, that Cardiff have £16 million insurance policies on all their players.. So they should not pay the price... Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Surely how it works is that CCFC pay Nantes according to the contract and the insurance company, when they're satisfied, pay CCFC? CCFC can't delay payment to Nantes, they are liable for the terms of the contract, not the insurers.
Clearly some Luton fans haven't got over Jones leaving .. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-47155841 He must live in Hertfordshire which will hardly help him !!
400K a week for Ramsey!? Football really has gone mad wages wise.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47203118
Udinese lost 1-0 at Wally's Torino. By all accounts more than a bit unlucky: DePaul missed a penalty won by Okaka, (stone wall so how it went to VAR is anybody's guess) and Udinese had two goals ruled out by VAR, including an Okaka strike from 20+ yards... when it's not your day...
Good result for us - means we've gained 2 points on Wolves. Probably hurts Newcastle even more seeing the likes of us 2 content for 7th whilst they are at the bottom struggling.
Gordon Banks the ex-England goalkeeper has died at the age of 81. A great keeper for England and his clubs. I remember him at Watford and wishing that Stoke, I think, had someone less able between the sticks. Certainly he was up with the best in the world. RIP Gordon. You gave us a lot of pleasure.
Watched some of the AFC Wimbledon v Millwall cup game and the difference between the two teams and what we are now used to seeing is vast. Lump it forward and hope from both sides was the order of the day.
Newport holding Man City atm...and had a great chance saved. The trouble is we would face Man City on a nice green pitch which they'd probably enjoy compared to Newport's mud heap. Bet the FA are hoping Millwall get knocked out next round.... Just think what 25k of their thugs could do at Wembley.
The Emiliano Sala saga could rumble on for a long time, ending up in court rooms. There are many complications over the pilot's licence leading to the possibility of Cardiff launching a negligence claim against Nantes.
