    Puts things into perspective at certain PL clubs when Oldham players almost went on strike because of unpaid wages.

    John Barnes I guess.

    Bit of a game of 2 halves.

    England excellent in 1st half but as expected Spain came out strongly so we had to dig in and have a bit of luck.

    I don't have a problem with him managing the Tractor boys as long as he carries on the way he has with his last few clubs <whistle>

    Thankfully it seems he is responding well to treatment .

    Hoddle's brother died of a heart attack aged 40.

    The Leicester City owner's helicopter has crashed in a car park outside the club's ground shortly after taking off following a match.

    It is not known if Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter at the time, but after every Leicester home game, Mr Srivaddhanaprabha leaves the stadium by his helicopter, which lands in the centre circle on the pitch.

    it is as sad day for football today and puts success or failure on the pitch into true perspective
    it is more significant what they are not saying than what is being reported
    We all wish Glenn Hoddle a speedy recovery but he sounds to be in a bad way
    The news on the Leicester Chairman and his family seems to be very bad and a potential disaster for the club

    I read that on the Leicester board
    Seems his daughter was on board as well;
    it was good to see all the kind comments from supporters of other clubs
    Shows we can all unite when it matters

    So very sad that it should happen to a person that was so well liked. Although there will be great sadness within his family and the club and fans, we should not forget that others less well known have loved ones who will be grieving tonight.
