That's just it, England is so compact, relatively. Southampton to Newcastle is a bit of a step in the EPL, but small potatoes compared with journeys across France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
Managers to get red or yellow cards for showing signs of dissent and abuse towards match officials. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45025794 Some would get one each game!! Its only coming into the EFL and non-league for now - as these new trials seem to do. Will it make any difference - after all officials can send managers and coaches off anyway for such incidents? And the abuse doesn't stop!
Will Bournemouth still be know as plucky little Cherries who spend nothing ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45072577
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...jose-mourinhos-premier-league-2018-19-preview Pure genius. I used to rate JM but he is one grumpy man, or is he just an emo boy trapped in JM's body?
There is no doubting Rooney still has that passion to do well but just lost his way a bit . Not sure most teams would send their goalie up at 2-2 and down to 10 men though !
Mark can't see it being seen as good in Spain or lasting long. There are only 3 teams the US will have heard of so that means Real, Atleti (bet not many in the US know atleti either) and Barca will have to carry the burden. Can't see La Coruna vs Getafe pulling big crowds And this year those three have hardly had any break.
What does this remind you of from Zenit St Petersburg. 4-0 down after the first leg but win after Extra time.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45216364
EWWWWWWWWWW, I guess when it happens it will never ever be Watford playing abroad mind. It will happen it is just a matter of when. Grim for the fans of the clubs that have to do it mind, fans are just put to one side really as it is nearly all about that $.
Well watched my second team Cadiz cf tonight, home game against Almeria. Better team first half. More corners, more free kicks, more shots on goal, less yellow cards, more skill after slow start, ....... but at half time no reward 0-0. Eventually we get the well deserved goal 76 mins. So what happens next??????? We sit back defending deeper and deeper. Remind anyone of anyone? Thankfully we hang on but not good for the nerves. But first three points in the bin. Bring on Burnley
I'm going to watch Palace. See what we might expect at the weekend. Should be a good game. Here in Spain, at the mo, Atletico are continuing their good start to the season 0-1 against Valencia who many thought had potential this year. Could it be Real regret letting Cristiano R go? Enjoy
Well got Atletico wrong. Ended 1-1. Perhaps the guys thinking Valencia will have a good year are on to something. As for Palace they are getting little from this and I don't see much to fear. But maybe Liverpool deserve a lot of credit with 68% pos away from home, and CP way down on shots.
